- Experience with trach and BiPAP preferred but not required
- RNs required to titrate drips such as Lasix and Heparin
- Experience in Medsurg/Onc RN preferred
- Ability to float to other MedSurg units
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 0700-1930, 1900-0730
- Self-scheduling: Manager to make schedule
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
- Call/Standby Requirement: None
- Block scheduling may be considered if unit needs are met
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit Beds: 31
- Common diagnoses: Strokes, HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, A fib non RVR, Chest pain, MI after ICU, etc.
- RN not required to read and interpret strips, monitor tech available
- Vent, CPAP, BiPAP equipment: RNs required to troubleshoot
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color
- Additional Details
- Nurse to patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6
- Patient care techs duties: Assist with patient care
- Charge Nurse available on each shift
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts on the floor
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
