Job Details
• 13-week contract for Medsurg/Onc RN position
• Great unit culture and teamwork, family oriented unit, travelers should feel supported

Job Requirements
• Must have experience with trach and BiPAP preferred, not required
• Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes
• Must be experienced in Lasix, Heparin preferred

Schedule Information
• Shifts are 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
• Block scheduling may be considered if unit needs are met
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday requirement as needed
• No call or standby requirement

Unit Specific Information
• 31-bed unit, with nurse to patient ratios varying by shift
• Common diagnoses/types of patients include adults and geriatrics, strokes (stroke unit), and other medical conditions
• Non-oncology staff may administer chemotherapy as needed
• Tele/monitor techs available; RNs not required to read and interpret strips
• RT Equipment includes BiPAP, RNs required to troubleshoot
• Self-scheduling and block scheduling are potentials depending on unit needs

Additional Details
• BLS certification required
• Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit with a ratio of 1:8
• Must float to other MedSurg units and ER holds occasionally
• No specific scrub color required
• 1-2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
