• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required

Job Details
• Specialty: Post-Partum RN
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Days: 3x12s, first to float, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Job Requirements
• 3 years of experience
• Ok with first time travelers
• Ability to jump right in
• RNs required to titrate drips
• Experience with Procardia, labetalol, pitocin, TXA, cytotec, methergine, hemabate, cervidil, rare Insulin (not required for travelers)

Schedule Information
• Rotational 7a-7p, 7p-7a, scheduled 6 weeks in advance
• Manager to make the schedule
• Willing to work with block scheduling

Unit Specific Information
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: postpartum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterectomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies
• OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7: OB On call 24/7, Neo on call 24/7 NNP here overnight
• Shifts & Scheduling: Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?
• Weekend Requirements: Every third
• Holiday Requirements: As Needed
• Floating Requirements: Will float to NICU to care for feeder-grower neonates and MS/PEDS (will consider with no MS/Peds exp)
• Scrub Color/Dress code: any color scrub
• How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2- 12 hour shifts on the unit
• Attributes that help make a nurse successful in this unit include being outgoing, an active learner, and good interpersonal skills

Additional Details
• Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
