- A hospital in Central Nebraska is in need of a Surgical Tech to work a 13 week travel assignment.
- The tech will be working 8 to 10 hour days with some call being required.
- Job Requirements
- BLS; Department: OR (Tech)
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Staff must be well versed on all surgical procedures since we don't have specialized teams for each service line
- Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1500, All staff are scheduled 5 days a week
- Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 night a week on call
- Weekend/Call Requirements: Every 5th or 6th weekend (Sat/Sun) on call
- Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holiday call
- Unit Specific Information
- # of Suites: 7 ORs, 2 Endo suites
- Common Cases: Adults, geriatrics, Peds, Obstetric. Neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general, Davinci robotics
- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge Nurse
- Floating Requirements: Pre/Post op and ER for trauma cases
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 week in the OR
