Job Details
• Hospital located in Eastern Nebraska is looking for multiple In Patient Rehab RN's.
• This is an inpatient rehab with acute, post-acute, and neuro patients.
• Ratios are 1:6, 35 bed.

Job Requirements
• BLS required for all.
• Charge Nurse on shift
• Nurses will float to MedSurg.

Schedule Information
• Shifts are 0630-1900, 1830-0700.
• Self-scheduling is cyclic.
• At minimum every 3rd weekend rotation.
• At minimum 2 holidays per contract length.
• Classroom orientation and 2 12-hour shifts on the unit.

Unit Specific Information
• Department: Inpatient Rehab
• Beds: 35
• Ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients include adults and geriatrics, Stroke, SCI, Amputee, BI, critical illness, neurological disease-MS, Parkinsons, etc.
• Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips include Antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets.
• Nurse aids/patient care techs available: Yes, Ratios 1:10-15.

Additional Details
• No Call or Standby requirement.
• Floating Requirements: Will float to MedSurg.
• Strong communication skills, highly organized, teamwork, innovative problem solving skills, compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence, collaboration are attributes that will make a nurse successful on this unit.
• Radius Rule: 50 miles.
• Candidates may not be full time, part time or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
