- Nursing position in Post-partum unit
- BLS, NRP certifications required
- Responsible for Mother/Baby (Couplet) assignment, with the occasional float to Antepartum and as in-house sitter
- Not responsible for Labor
- Schedule Information
- Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 6:30 AM and ending at 7:00 PM
- Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend
- No call or standby requirement
- Unit Specific Information
- Charge Nurse does not take an assignment
- CNA support: 1 CNA for 36 rooms
- Floating Requirements: Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
- Orientation: 2 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation
- Additional Details
- The unit serves a diverse culture including Hispanic, Somalian, Karen, low-income/socioeconomic and/or homeless populations
- Facility is Baby Friendly
- Positive attitude and good teamwork are crucial for success on this unit
- Looking for someone willing to jump in, who is positive, and knows how to use their resources to solve problems
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
