CHI Health would love to add a Preoperative Evaluation Clinic RN (Nurse) to our Perioperative Clinic located at our CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy that is in conjunction with the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, No weekends, No holidays & No call!
**What does a Perioperative Clinic do?**
The perioperative visit is a bit different. First it will most likely be a more thorough examination.

To help you prepared for your clinic visit here is what you may expect during your appointment. A clinic physician or nurse is likely to ask you a whole host of questions. These are designed to detect any health conditions you may have!

**Expectations:**
+ Nursing assessments
+ Routine observations
+ Patient teaching
+ Obtaining a medical history
+ Reviewing test and exam results
+ Ordering laboratory tests
+ Coordinating care between specialists
+ Making recommendations to patients, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
+ The goal of a PEC (Preoperative Evaluaction Clinic Nurse) is to improve the patient's preoperative experience and reduce the risk of complications during and after surgery
+ Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required
**Pay Range**
$26.38 - $38.26 /hour
