Certification Details
• BLS - Basic Life Support required
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required as applicable by unit
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required as applicable by unit
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course required as applicable by unit
• State License 1 Verification required
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for 6MICU candidates at all Carilion locations
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute required as applicable by profession

Job Details
• PCU RN (6West)
• ASAP start, 13 weeks
• 3x12 hour nights, 7p-7a
• Cardiac Observation Unit
• Strong cardiac skills required
• Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)
• All travelers are expected to float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med Surg
