- Unit Description: Low-risk and high-risk obstetrics. 14 L&D beds, 6 triage beds, 2 operating rooms, 2 recovery beds, 2 high-risk antepartum. L&D is a regional tertiary care unit supporting local obstetric needs and serving as a receiving port from outlying hospitals. Nurses team with midwives and physicians to maximize the childbirth experience for women seeking minimal intervention, as well as those with major complications

CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician record. CAMC FLU SEASON IS OCTOBER 1st - MARCH 31st. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
