Job Details
• The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. The sonographer is accountable for the provision of effective and high-quality imaging with ultrasound and related procedures to demonstrate optimized quality images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The ultrasound technologist provides appropriate patient care essential for successful completion of the procedure, while adhering to professional practices and assuring a healthy work environment.

Job Requirements
• Certified by the ARDMS or ARRT (S)
• Basic Life Support Certification Required
• 1+ years' experience in General, OB, and Vascular
• Certified, RVT, registered vascular technologist & RDMS (AB or OB) preferred

Schedule Information
• Shift times: Sundays 7a-7p -Mon-Tues nights 630p-7a
• Weekends: Yes
• Call & Holiday Requirements: Labor day

• Number of Beds - 400
• Number of Staff – 2 ultrasound tech staffed on weekend days (Xray, MRI and CT staff present)
• Type of staff: Day Shift – 4-6 techs, Night Shift - 1 tech
• Patient Ratios – average 8-10 exams in an 8-hour shift
• Type of equipment – Philips Epiq5, Parks Vascular, Trophon Transducer cleaning equipment
• EMR – Epic
