Job Description

  • Ensure core training is conducted for new Business Partners in all product lines
  • Facilitate and monitor initial and refresher functional training (to include Smith, Firearms, and CAPS training, where applicable) for hourly Employees
  • Conduct and coordinate functional certification process, to include training, measurement, and testing as part of official certification for hourly positions
  • Conduct safety training, or other training as needed
  • Travel to other Branches within Training Area to conduct training and ensure the training schedule is met approximately 50% of the time
  • Monitor LIFE (Learning in Field Experience) to ensure full compliance with established training policies, procedures and objectives
  • Conduct and monitor CIT street inspections and observation rides as part of functional certification process, to uphold Brink's safety and security standards, and to ensure training retention and compliance
  • Track and report on all required city and state permits and/or licenses, and monitor and report training requirement changes affecting those permits and/or licenses
  • May supervise trainers within the designated area of responsibility
  • Ensure that safety and security equipment and supplies are in place at all times at each Branch: (Radios, Firearms, Vests, Uniforms and Equipment)
  • Complete assigned annual Brink's Firearms Audits for the Training Area, to comply with annual Brink's Firearms Audit requirements
  • Accurately and completely document all training and ensure Workday training files are updated accordingly; to ensure all training documentation for assigned Training Area is posted, filed and accounted for
