Job Description

We are seeking an action-oriented Global Lean Executive to elevate the conduct of Lean events to the next level. This leader will drive Brink's global lean execution efforts by building a team of demonstrated Lean Practitioners that will be deployed to develop and execute Kaizen Roadmaps to deliver substantial gains in operational efficiency and financial performance. By building capability to plan and execute Kaizen events, this executive will not only reduce waste and maximize value but also enhance our culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with executives and regional leaders, this leader will build on our strong foundation to foster a high-performance, action-oriented environment that rapidly delivers measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Lean Advancement:
· Develop the vision for the organizational structure and deployment methodology for a team of Lean Practitioners that lead events across the enterprise.
· Lead the global development and execution of Kaizen Roadmaps to improve key performance indicators tied to strategic objectives.
· Develop and implement tools to drive strong execution of Lean events.
· Drive a win-the-week mentality within our key growth initiatives that aligns to proven problem solving methodologies.
· Develop and communicate a clear vision for lean execution, fostering buy-in and ownership across teams.
Process Improvement:
· Improve the execution of Kaizen Events and other improvement initiatives in collaboration with business leaders, leveraging lean tools (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
· Identify, evaluate, and implement best practices and standardization opportunities to optimize operational efficiency.
· Measure, analyze, and report on lean execution results and continuously refine strategies based on data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Partner with regional and functional leaders to ensure Kaizen Roadmaps are aligned with business needs, and tailor programs to fit local contexts.
· Mentor and coach regional lean leaders to build capability and foster a continuous improvement culture at all organizational levels.
· Engage with cross-functional teams, including quality, safety, HR, and finance, to enhance end-to-end value stream performance.
Training and Development:
· Build organizational capabilities by designing and building a team of Lean Practitioners capable of executing action-oriented lean events to deliver business outcomes.
· Develop a network of lean champions and ensure ongoing development through the conduct of well-structured improvement events
· Promote a culture of learning and professional growth within lean teams and beyond.
Leadership and Culture Building:
· Lead by example to instill a proactive, hands-on culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.
· Cultivate an environment of trust, collaboration, and transparency that supports lean practices and empowers team members.
· Drive cultural change to embed action-oriented lean principles with daily management systems to sustain operational improvements across regions and functions.
Performance and Reporting:
· Track, report, and analyze performance against lean transformation objectives, establishing and monitoring key metrics (e.g., efficiency, cost reduction, quality improvements).
· Provide regular updates to executive leadership on lean initiatives' progress and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
· 10+ years of experience in operations management with a focus on lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
· Proven success in conducting action-oriented continuous improvement events across multiple regions.
· Extensive knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt certification a plus), and continuous improvement tools.
· Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with an ability to translate vision into actionable initiatives.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
· Experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial operations environment preferred.
