Job Description
The District Service and Implementation Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Route Leads, Technicians and Cash Loaders / Messengers within the district. This position is responsible for assisting the District Manager in the secure, safe and efficient functioning of an armored car operation. This individual will work closely with the District Lead and Regional Director to ensure all customer & LOB expectations are being met. The incumbent drives the execution of the business and motivates team members to achieve the best results and to drive continuous process improvement. This position will lead a dedicated team of ATM employees and requires extensive coordination with other on-site operations. This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of PAI/VTS/Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises and its customers. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess a can-do attitude, be willing to collaborate, demonstrate enthusiasm for customers, and be able to solve problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Manage the ATM Logistics team members at the branch
- Schedule staff for all Branch and Vault duties: route check-in/out
- Identify, research to resolve/reconcile cash variances. Escalate to Cash Management and District Manage any unresolved variances
- Maintain accurate records, handle customer inquiries, and balance transactions daily
- Prepare reporting as needed for internal and customer stakeholders
- Ensure ATM route logistics efficiency through appropriate interaction with market employees and route analysis
- Ensure cash loads and delivery orders are prepared in a timely manner, for route start times
- Manage check-in and out of routes – with investigation and escalations for any missing packages that cannot be located
- Oversee the fleet of vehicles and other equipment needed to support the smooth operation in the district
- Maintain safe and secure environment with the goal of ensuring the safety of all employees
- Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and efficiency
- Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures; proactively reduce risk exposure and ensure implementation of measures to reduce worker's compensation injury costs and security losses
- Establish and maintain accountability on the front line of the market; schedule and develop staff; maintain positive Employee Relations and work environment, while creating a cooperative team atmosphere of employee engagement
- Maintain the highest level of integrity, dignity and standards both on an internal and external basis; maintain high ethical standards and protect the company's reputation by delivering high quality, reliable programs and services
- Provide support for other functions of the branch as necessary
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of the customers, company procedures and systems
- Manage security of the building and handle access and egress
- Coordinate vendors for service delivery, branch maintenance – with District Manager approval for spend
- Support the finance team with payroll, accounts payable or revenue information
- Organize the branch to keep all parts, assets, consumables and inventory stored and accounted for appropriately.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and organized, as employees complete their work
- Perform related duties as business needs present themselves, within your scope of practice

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A great attitude, strong work ethics and people skills is critical
- Minimum of 3 years operations experience in transportation and/or logistics
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years ATM operations and claims experience
- Previous experience as an armored car driver
- Knowledge of route analysis and logistics
- Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of budgeting and planning experience
- Bachelor's Degree
COMPUTER / APPLICATIONS SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite to include Outlook, Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of PAIReports a plus
- Ability to use a mobile device for reporting activity during the day
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This work is performed in the cash management center. The working environment can be distracting due to noise. Must have the ability to bend, reach over your head and to individually lift or move up to 250 lbs. assisted with a hand-dolly.
SUPERVISORY / MANAGEMENT DUTIES:
The employee is responsible for supervising other positions.
A combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted when competency in the role is demonstrated. Successful performance on pre-employment tests may be required. Position requires successfully passing a drug test prior to hire and upon any accident / incident or discharge of firearm while on duty.
