Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Mercy Health Lorain, located 30 miles west of Cleveland, has an opportunity for a board certified or board eligible, fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon to join our growing orthopedic department. Mercy Health Lorain Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center providing inpatient, outpatient and ancillary services. Primary responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical care for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients who suffer from musculoskeletal injuries. This physician must possess procedural competence to enhance the function of patients' affected body parts, heal injuries, and alleviate pain, which includes treatment of chronic and acute injuries in patients. This full-time employment opportunity is with our exceptional physician driven, hospital-based group. Mercy Health Physicians Lorain employs more than one hundred providers that offer a large network for a referral base.
The Mercy Health Physicians - Lorain Orthopedics practices are growing, with three employed orthopedic surgeons including one fellowship trained in sports medicine, one fellowship trained in adult reconstruction, and one fellowship trained in orthopedic spine. The practice is experiencing growth and offers four outpatient practice locations for easy patient access. The call model includes 7 days per month at our level 3 trauma center, with weekend rotation 1:4/5, along with holiday rotation.
