Description
Mercy Health Tiffin General Surgeons is seeking a skilled General Surgeon Physician to join our esteemed team. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining patient access to primary care in the greater Tiffin area and surrounding communities. Our current practice boasts a well-established two-provider setup, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for professional growth and development.
Job Details:
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 16 office hours per week in Tiffin
- 8-12 office hours per week in Willard
- Remaining hours dedicated to surgery block times at Tiffin and Willard Hospitals
- 1:4 rotation with 10 gratis days per month
- Covering Tiffin and Willard hospitals
- General surgery expertise
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
- Proficiency in performing emergent and elective surgical procedures
Ancillary Services/Equipment Available:
- DaVinci Robot available in Tiffin
- Cardiologist on site at each facility Monday to Friday
- Outreach pulmonologist available in Tiffin two days per week
- Comprehensive respiratory and x-ray services accessible at each facility 24/7/365
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
- Valid medical license in the state of Ohio
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
