Mercy Heath Physicians Youngstown is seeking a Hospital and Practice MFM specialist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as part of the Women's Service Line.
You will partner with a team of other MFMs to guide development of standards for antepartum and intrapartum care as well as to educate, supervise and provide direct care for patients served by Women's Services. Candidates will have dedicated time to participate in collaborative role relative to interests in practice, research and education.
As one of the largest providers of Level III obstetrical services in the state and the largest provider of obstetrics in Mahoning Valley, St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital welcomes more than 3400 babies each year and St. Joseph Warren Hospital more than 1200 babies each year.
Our dynamic multi-specialty group is seeking an experienced MFM specialist to join a larger team providing weekday, evening and weekend coverage at our St. Elizabeth Boardman hospital and St. Joseph Warren Hospital. Physician will provide High Risk Perinatology services in the practices and in the hospital. Opportunities for service line growth, academic oversight of medical students and Family Medicine/ Emergency residents.
Requirements:
- Board certified/eligible at time of employment
- Minimum of two years of Perinatology and OB/GYN experience
- Licensed in the state of OH by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS and NRP for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
We are looking for Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists to join our Women Service Line team at Mercy Health Youngstown in Boardman, Ohio and St. Joseph's in Warren, Ohio. Full-time entails providing a minimum of 5- 8hr clinical days per week and a rotation of weekend call coverage. Ideal candidates will be board-certified MFM (MD or DO), and will demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, and focus on providing quality care and placing the patient above all other considerations. Qualifications also include active and current skills in the full breadth of the OB/GYN specialty, a current (or well in-process) OHIO license to practice. Other requirements include a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the Mercy Health Women's Service Line Operations Committee, Ohio Department of Health and The Joint Commission. Insurability for malpractice insurance, at least 5 years of active practice, and a successful track record. Mercy Health is the industry leader in providing integrated hospital-based services offering the ability to grow professionally through CME and training created and provided by the Mercy Health.
