FULL TIME EXPERIENCED HOSPITALIST NP or PA TO JOIN BON SECOURS MARYVIEW MEDICAL CENTER INPATIENT MEDICINE TEAM
Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is inviting the right experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their inpatient medicine team. Inpatient PA will be equally considered, and will be joining a strong team of 7 FTE Hospital MD's, 5 PRN MD's and 3 additional APC's. Your skill level and years of experience practicing in a hospital environment will set you apart from other candidates. Must have minimum 2 years practicing as NP in an inpatient setting. Must be a true team-player, with positive attitude, love of patients and caring for those in need.
- Full time Employee salaried position, 80 hours per pay period, no overtime
- Inpatient medicine - Family Practice, Internal medicine
- Schedule varies, but is typically 4 10-hour shifts - days/nights/weekends/holidays
- Admitter Shift: 6a -4p - Rounding Shift: 2p-12a
- Schedule is created 60-90 days in advance by APC team
- 12-15 patients per day average
- Scope of practice includes treatment of acute and chronic disease states, patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention. The APC utilizes skills of history taking, physical assessment and diagnosis to manage a wide variety of health care needs for patients.
- Qualified candidates must be Board Certified and have Virginia license
