BMC is looking for a Senior Dot Net Developer to join our experienced web development team
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
• Be an important contributor in an agile web development team, using the latest web technologies to develop the new front end for enterprise software, that is mission-critical with thousands of customers around the world. • Design and develop features for an industry-leading product using modern front-end technologies. • Work in an Agile methodology within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and produce high-quality features. • Develop unit tests and component tests for each feature. • Collaborate with other teams to develop joint features together. • Provide high-quality support to our customers.
Required Skill:
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer, preferably with 7 years in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core. • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular • Hands-on Jira, Git/GitHub • Experience with SQL Server / Oracle. • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Java is a plus. • Additional experience with .NET v7+ and cross-platform .NET development would be helpful. • Experience with the IBM z/OS mainframe operating system is a plus. • A knowledge of AI/ML and ChatGPT is advantageous. • Mathematical background in statistical data analysis and processing is a plus.
