The Web Operation Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate execution of our production and back-office systems including bmc.com and related web properties. As a member of our web production team, they will work on content authoring updates and translations, site maintenance, quality assurance, governance, and user experience under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Web Operations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Author, maintain, update, and publish website content through an enterprise CMS (Adobe Experience Manager) and WordPress.

• Work and collaborate with Dev, QA, Strategy teams to understand all the requirements and assist in the development of new features and capabilities for the website.

• Create, monitor, and test new page designs, components, and templates, following brand and authoring guidelines

• Work closely with internal stakeholder for updating and maintenance of the corporate website

• Monitor and update status of the content ticketing tool, to ensure tasks are delivered on schedule with all requirements completed.

• Overseeing end-to-end localization workflow across the team using translation management tools and systems

• Where necessary, work closely with translation provider to ensure timely production of international content.

• Execute the production and publishing of translated content across web properties.

• Help in site optimization activities for better site performance

• Help the team to proactively work for smooth functioning of the website, making sure there are no broken or bad links on the site

• Balance planned projects and unplanned change request work

• Coordinate online production and content changes across a variety of web properties.

• Assist in documenting procedures and best practices for the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, computer science or sufficient related professional experience.

• Knowledge of content management systems, authoring tools, graphic tools, documentation standards and rules, with 3+ years of experience

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,167,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
