Your Role: As the Market Deli Department Supervisor your leadership and organization is what ensures our customers have an enjoyable shopping experience during their visit and meal ordering at the Market. This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring that all vendor deliveries are accurate and meet our standard of quality. You will also be overseeing a small team of associates through mentorship, delegation, and internal development. Detail orientated and an appreciation for routines will help you be successful in this role. You will oversee staff members, deliver financial results for sales, costs and profits of the deli's products. Teamwork, ensuring safety of teammates, and clear communication will allow your shifts to be productive and fun. Many of our customers are local, and you will see them often! Learning their name and favorite items to purchase, personalizes the experience and helps ensure our focus of Super Superior Service. For customers just visiting for a special occasion, your role will provide them with a seamless experience allowing them to order pre-made dinners, fresh broasted chicken, and fresh deli items just like at home. You must be at least 18 years old, and be able to stand, bend, and reach along with occasionally lifting up to 50.
