SAP Logistics Sr. Specialist
Mission:
To coordinate between 3PL Partner (Mallory), Sales, Merchandise Management, and German logistics, ensuring effective movement of materials and parts, meeting logistics expectations of the North America business.
Scope:
This position reports to the Logistics Manager, North America, collaborating with local and global functional partners.
Role Expectations:
- SAP Support and Troubleshooting: Provides first-level support for SAP issues and resolves data discrepancies between SAP and WMS.
- System Optimization and Analysis: Assesses SAP solutions, recommends improvements, and manages data reconciliation and inventory reports.
- End-User Training: Develops and delivers SAP training materials and sessions for logistics resources.
- Needs Analysis and Process Understanding: Determines business needs through analysis and maintains a comprehensive understanding of SAP logistics processes.
- System Maintenance and Compliance: Manages SAP transactions, document types, and ensures system compliance with regulations.
- Supports the optimization of logistics activities by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve operating efficiencies, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
- Implements and maintains processes to ensure accurate administration of data input into ERP (SAP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implements and maintains processes to ensure accurate administration of input for Fixture and Furniture orders in the Mallory Web Portal.
- Implements and maintains analytical resources to support inventory management of merchandise, furniture, fixtures, and service items.
- Leads the coordination of logistic activities between 3PL and carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to ensure accurate shipping of product, fixtures, and related items.
- Controls the efficient flow of warehouse goods, logistics services, and information from point of origin through placement to POS.
- Supports the growth agenda by ensuring effective new partner rollouts for North America.
Critical Outcomes:
- Gain thorough understanding of Company utilization of ERP (SAP) and WMS (First 30 days).
- Gain understanding of the company's business model, structure, and partnership with Beeline Logistics Center and 3PLs (First 30 days).
- Implements analytical tools and resources to identify and address process gaps (First 60 days).
Critical Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, including transportation and warehouse operations, with a high level of knowledge of import and export procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP logistics modules, including inventory management, delivery processing, subcontracting, and reporting.
- Strong computer skills, MS Office with high proficiency in Excel.
