Compassionate Counselor Supervisor Your Opportunity to Lead and Impact Lives Schedule: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM About You: As a compassionate and experienced Counselor Supervisor, you are ready to take on a leadership role, overseeing counselors and counselor interns to ensure high-quality care for patients. You excel at managing casework and treatment services, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies. Youre committed to delivering patient-centered care and will help guide both staff and patients through challenging circumstances with professionalism and empathy. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Clinical Leadership: You will offer supervision and support to counseling staff, ensuring their professional growth and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Lead Performance Improvement: Youll facilitate discussions, documentation, and follow-ups to enhance team performance and maintain an effective counseling service.
- Manage Caseloads: By assigning and adjusting counselors caseloads, you will ensure patients receive timely and effective care tailored to their needs.
- Monitor Treatment Quality: You will oversee patient treatment and counseling services, ensuring adherence to care plans and the consistent delivery of quality care.
- Screen Patients: You will assess potential patients to determine their eligibility and guide them through the intake process.
- Ensure Compliance: Conduct quality assurance reviews, ensure accurate documentation, and complete necessary reports, including patient death and incident reports.
- Support New Hires: You will assist in interviewing candidates, training new hires, and ensuring their smooth transition into the team.
- Encourage Staff Development: You will mentor counselors as they pursue licensure and certifications, providing guidance and support in their professional journeys.
- Facilitate Performance Discussions: Lead performance evaluations and ensure completion of annual training for counseling staff.
- Communicate Effectively: Address clinic, employee, and patient concerns with both staff and leadership, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Drive Program Development: You will contribute to the ongoing development of programs that improve patient care and enhance clinic operations.
- You hold a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science and are licensed as LADC-1, LICSW, or LMHC (MSW preferred).
- You have at least 1 year of experience in addiction treatment and case management.
- With supervisory experience, you bring self-motivation, direction, and a positive attitude toward working with patients recovering from chemical dependency.
- A satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check ensure your eligibility for the position.
