The Basics
Location: Kansas City, KS
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
Days/Hours: Normal hours will be during the day. However, our maintenance team needs to cover repairs and troubleshooting 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. As the leader of this team you will be charged with making sure there is someone from your team ready and available for on call response.
Equipment Used: Various diagnostic and repair tools
Equipment Repaired: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs that move bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you'll be doing:
In this hands-on position you will oversee and participate in the installation, repair, maintenance and refurbishment of grain handling equipment. This will include a variety of trades: mechanical, electrical and PLCs, welding and fabricating, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, concrete, painting, etc. The maintenance team will work extended hours and callbacks on short notice.
Requirements to be successful in this position:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Electrical experience preferred
- Fabrication experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
- Available to work overtime and weekends
- Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
- Able to pass a criminal background check
