Banner University Medical Center Tucsonis seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Orthopedic Medicine division. Based at our state-of-the-art BUMCT facility, this role offers a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative inpatient Orthopedic team.
As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in assisting our main campus Orthopedic team, including multi subspecialties, including Orthopedic trauma, spine, hand, joints and general orthopedics. This position is ideal for a motivated provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Orthopedic providers and residents, ensuring high-quality orthopedic care.
- Manage a variable caseload, adapting to the needs of multiple teams within the hospital setting.
- Engage with multiple orthopedic sub-specialties, expanding your expertise and professional growth.
- Operate independently while having access to a robust network of orthopedic surgeons for support.
What We Are Looking For:
- Energetic and Detail-Oriented: You are a proactive communicator with a passion for patient care.
- Experienced and Adaptable: While prior experience in Orthopedics, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine is valuable, all experienced APPs are encouraged to apply.
- Collaborative and Resourceful: You excel in team environments and are confident in making decisions within a collaborative care model.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted Arizona licensure as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
- Valid CPR and BLS certifications.
- Prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to thrive in an academic setting.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Daytime Shift | No Weekends!
