Job Title: Hospitalist Day-Shift Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
Location: AtlantiCare Medical Center, New Jersey
Job Description:
We seek a dynamic Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our Hospitalist team. As an APN, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our diverse patient population. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals, you'll provide comprehensive medical care, making a difference in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Monitor and manage hospitalized patients' medical needs, including medication management and care coordination.
Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment options, and discharge planning.
Participate in daily rounds, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current APN licensure in New Jersey.
Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) required.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or hospitalist medicine preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
