Job Details
• Registered Nurse position in the Intermediate Care unit.
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs.
• Shift Requirements: 12 hour night, 7p-730a.
• Start Date: 10/7/24.
• Unit Information: 36 beds, Med Surg Intermediate Care unit, Heavy Tele, Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke. Primary Patients/Insulin Drips Patient Ratio: 4:1.
• Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely- fast-paced unit.

Job Requirements
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years experience required- firm on this. Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED. ICU experience, preferred. Trauma Level II preferred. Ventilator/Trach experience required.
• At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED.
• Charting Experience: EPIC preferred.

Schedule Information
• Shift Requirements: 12 hour night, 7p-730a.
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

• Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau.

• THIS UNIT HAS THE CONTRACT END ON SUNDAY NOT SATURDAY.
• GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
