- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Shift Requirements: 12 hour day/night variables
- Unit Information: 2 labor rooms; 6 post-partum. Level 1 maternity/Level 1 nursery as well as post-op GYN patients. Our birth rate is ~ 100 annually. Month to month is highly variable.
- Job Requirements
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in OB with L&D experience
- 1 travel assignment REQUIRED
- Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
- Charting Experience: EPIC REQUIRED
- Required Skillset: Labor and Delivery competent
- Schedule Information
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Shift Requirements: 12 hour day/night variables
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend, holiday rotations
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: as above- we staff to AWHONN guidelines.
- Unit Specific Information
- Bed size: 2 labor rooms; 6 post-partum
- Case type: Level 1 maternity/Level 1 nursery as well as post-op GYN patients
- Patient ratio: We try to adhere to AWHONN guidelines
- Average Daily Census: Highly variable. Average monthly delivery rate is ~ 10/month
- With covid we are advocating for early discharge (24 hour), so can go 24+ hours with no patients.

- 50 MILE RADIUS RULE
- On Call/Call Back Requirements: No requirements for additional on-call or back-up
- Additional shifts MAY be available to pick up for sick calls, etc.
