The Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Network Workforce Development Specialist. DDD provides individuals with developmental disabilities, and their families, services and supports that are flexible, high quality, and member driven. These services provide individuals with opportunities to exercise their rights and responsibilities of independent decision-making and engagement in the community.
This position is responsible for an execution of the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD/Division) Network and Central Office goals. The incumbent in this position is: creating, analyzing, and presenting data to Network management; initiating, creating, developing and tracking Network assignments, developing criteria and timeliness of monthly reports; completing special assignments; maintaining and monitoring the Network Reports mailbox and the Workforce Development mailbox; assisting in the development of resources added to the Workforce Development web page; assisting in the development of workforce related articles for the DDD Shout, DDD Voice, DDD Echo, and the For the Record Newsletters; assisting with updating policies and procedures in the Network area; developing resource materials; participating in and facilitating work groups; attending and participating in meetings and completing other related projects. This position completes all Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Network deliverables timely and accurately and collaborates with AHCCCS and all AHCCCS Managed Care Organizations on statewide initiatives; participates in the creation of innovative tools to assist with Network sufficiency; provides oversight of the DDD Health Plans related to Workforce Development; conducts public speaking presentation on Workforce Development updates to management, providers, and stakeholders and meets with and provides technical assistance to Qualified Vendors as needed.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Job Duties:Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Collaborates with AHCCCS, AdSS health plans, Division entities, and other stakeholders in developing tools and resources for statewide initiatives and deliverables. Reviews & evaluates documents, reports, contracts, and other network related documents.
• Participates in meetings with AHCCCS, AdSS health plans, qualified vendors, and other external entities. Conducts public speaking presentation as assigned.
• Assists with the completion of all AHCCCS and Network deliverables and ensures they are accurate and timely.
• Updates policies, procedures, standard work, and other written documents in the Network area. Develops informational and recruitment resource materials. Provides public commentary on policies. Participates and facilitates work groups. Attends and participates in meetings. Completes other related projects.
• Assists with the development of the Network Development and Management Plan, Workforce Development Plan, Network Development and Recruitment Plan's identified goals, strategies and evaluations. Monitors methods with approval of the Network Manager and Network Administrator.
• Completes monthly and weekly Scorecard Metrics for the Network Area requirements. Creates documents for the weekly huddles. Maintains weekly Project Board.
• Reviews and analyzes various informational data related to the provision of professional services to determine Network sufficiency statewide. Identifies geographical areas of the State requiring Network development.
Knowledge of :
• Federal and State Statutes and agency policies and procedures relating to the care and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities.
• Arizona Long Term Care Services, Title XIX, AHCCCS Contract and Acute Care Health Plans.
• AHCCCS Policies and Procedures.
• ALTCS Workforce.
Skills In:

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, Liberal Arts, Early Childhood, Business or related field is preferred. Experience working with Qualified Vendor Application Process, ALTCS, and AHCCCS Contract and Acute Care Health Plans. Three years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Successfully pass background and reference check; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the Agency's ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.

Retirement:State employees are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), the State sponsored retirement contribution plan and the Long-Term Disability (LTD) program after a 27-week waiting period.
