Job Details
• Certifications required: BLS
• Accepts first time travelers
• Department Info: 10 labor rooms; 2 ORs, 3 triage
• On call required as needed
• No Float
• Our LD delivers approximately 100 babies a month, average 23% c-sections. We take high risk labor patients. The CST assist in the labor rooms as a tech and in the OR on c-section cases. In addition, we have 3 bed triage for OP pregnant patients.
• Skills Required: Sterilization, Case cart, scrib, aseptic technique, C-sections, Dilation & curettage, vaginal delivery
• Equipment: Suction, cautery, DC machine
• Additional skills: Ability to have computer skills, exceptional customer service, team player with nursing and MD, assist in labor room for set up, handling specimens and interface with lab and other departments.
• *100 mile radius rule in effect. The traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility. If they live within 100 miles from the facility, they are not qualified.
