Your role:
Serve as the customer account interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies. The effective and efficient processing of all customer order transactions and customer order inquiries with minimal direct supervision.
• Process customer orders.
• Send order confirmations.
• Process customer quotes.
• Contact vendor for price and delivery information.
• Check price and stock per customer request.
• Interact with Outside Sales regarding quotes.
• Send customer quotes.
• Send direct ship PO to the vendors.
• Check price and stock for Outside Sales.
• Answer incoming sales department phone calls.
• Check Voice mail messages and respond to customers.
• Expedite customer orders.
• Provide tracking information.
• Spec in product based on customer description.
• Print pick Ticket for hot orders.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 2-4 years' work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- General knowledge of sales order processing and inventory practices.
Desired characteristics:
- Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Solid organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Good problem-solving and reasoning skills.
