Job Summary

We are looking for a new Inventory Control Analyst employee to be based in Dundalk.

Summary:

Working on daily inventory activities including cycle counting, data collection, implementing and reviewing processes to maintain inventory security and integrity to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum value to the company.  Researches and disposes of excess inventory and makes recommendations for reducing and controlling inventory.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Adhere to the Group Inventory Governance Model and SOX compliance
  • Provide Weekly and Monthly reporting to Management across Inventory turns, Total Inventory accuracy and Credits Management
  • Work with Planning, Production and Warehousing to set min/max stock targets
  • Work with warehousing on calculating volumetric data and associated storage requirements
  • Own and manage the KPI's for all Total Inventory activities and continuously review overall site performance
  • Provide projected Inventory turn targets for site over a rolling 12-month period
  • Implement and manage Inventory input/output models
  • Manage the cycle counting programme and through the Cycle Counter daily cycle counts are carried out and stock accuracy meets 99%
  • Undertake monthly stock reconciliation's
  • Excess and Obsolete inventory management, report to and recommend to Finance what actions are required from an E&O point of view each month
  • Manage Credit Returns process
  • Manage master data ensuring ERP is kept up to date
  • Work closely with the Finance department providing a variety of reports and information related to Inventory on Hand.
  • When required you must have total ownership and lead our yearly Four Wall  

Experience/qualification we are looking to add to the team:

  • Knowledge of the day-to-day management  of the Total  Inventory
  • About 3 years of experience in Inventory Management.
  • Strong IT, organization and analytical skills, proficiency in all MS Office packages.and good knowledge of ERP/WMS.
  • A creative, proactive individual with the ability to make good judgements and think and act quickly.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate to Management  and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, manage time effectively and meet targets and objectives.
  • Strong management and analytical skills, persuasive ability and collaborative approach to customer demands.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland (EU).
