Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that provides quality critical power solutions, manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

The Business Excellence Manager will be based in Dundalk, Ireland, reporting directly to the General Manager. The role will be key in promoting a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization and drive continuous improvement to ensure the implementation of best practices across all areas of the business. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities

  • Apply and deploy Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization

  • Eliminate waste and create value by reducing process variation to achieve sustainable results

  • Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques to initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, and cost reductions

  • Drive and Yokoten the identified best practices based on the accord timelines

  • Create and validate processes/standards

  • Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean, and six sigma training to promote a Lean Continuous Improvement culture

  • Perform assessments of CIMT Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps

  • Participate in the selection and execution of lean and six sigma projects

  • Formulate and propose Lean Transformation strategies for assigned special projects/segments/customers

  • Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities

  • Incentivize participation and training of Flex Employees, Suppliers, and Customers.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a production company

  • Proven track record of Business Excellence projects

  • Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and degree qualified within Engineering field

  • Must be able to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs

  • Management skills and technical experience on Finance, HR, Materials and Operations activities

  • Demonstrates detailed expertise COMPLEX situations and multiple area

  • Comprehends the strategic impact of the function across sites

  • Eligible to work in Ireland
