Description
Anchorage Neurosurgical Associates is seeking advanced practice providers (Nurse Practitioner).
Full time position for neurosurgical group. Employment options for 1) clinic-only or 2) clinic/inpatient/surgical environment.
The advanced practice providers work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals providing care to patients in both clinic and hospital settings.
Full-time: Monday-Friday
Clinic/inpatient/surgical position includes call requirements including rotating night and weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care
- Obtain appropriate patient history
- Perform focused and complete physical examinations
- Assist in perioperative care of patients
- Assist in the operating room
- Evaluate findings from diagnostic tests and make appropriate diagnosis
- Initiating appropriate referrals to other physicians or specialty care providers when needed
Requirements:
- NP
- Completion of an accredited Master or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner Program
- Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) in one of the following Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Specialties: Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Alaska State Registered Nurse license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license, or eligibility
- Alaska State Prescriptive Authority, or eligibility
- Current DEA certification or eligibility
- Must be able to be credentialed by ASC & hospitals
