THE ROLE:

As part of the North America Regional Marketing team, you are responsible for developing the component channel partner marketing strategy in North America in support of our component gaming PC, workstation, and data center products through multiple channels, including retail, etail and distribution. Working collaboratively with channel sales leadership, you will lead your team to deliver programs that drive results for both AMD and our partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategy that aligns with sales pipeline and revenue goals in collaboration with AMD channel leadership and partners.
  • Manage a team of experienced marketers.
  • Own and lead budget allocation for MDF programs for NA channel partners.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration across AMD business units, sales, and corporate marketing to deliver outstanding results.
  • Supervise program performance and work with sales and product teams to share performance metrics, define upcoming programs, and identify key issues/opportunities.
  • Quantify and present program results to AMD Leadership for efficiency, recommendations, and long-range planning.
  • Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of our marketing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional communicator: Experienced and effective presenting results to executives and senior leadership.
  • Seasoned in customer-facing roles: Customer-first focus and are the voice of your company within partners and the voice of your partners within the company.
  • Data driven: Experience in using data and analytics to guide marketing strategy and measure success.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology market.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suite with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 25% to customer meetings and partner activity.
  • Passion for working in an ambitious team that loves what we do.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience or training preferred.

LOCATION:

Austin, TX is preferable

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
