Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Senior Program Management Analyst to Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Coordinate all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Work with Business Leaders to define requirements for implementing processes into QMS tools. Define, develop, and represent business process flow diagrams. Document and understand core business requirements. Develop the best solutions across existing or new AMD business tools and systems. Learn to configure and coordinate business tools. Support tools for business process implementation and future growth. Work with IT and other cross-company teams to support tools for Business Unit. Develop web services and demonstrate reporting tools to connect to various Data Lakes. Coordinate work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develop detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Develop and maintain project delivery schedules with well-defined milestones. Manage and track program schedules, technical issues, and negotiate priorities against project plans to ensure key internal and external deliverables are met. Drive project lifecycle execution processes to ensure compliance with project processes and controls. Manage project resources by aligning allocations and demand with the PMO. Provide effective communication regarding status, issues, objectives, dependencies, risks and plan execution to management, development teams and business partners. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or engineering (any).

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related product engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or engineering (any) plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or closely related product engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires two (2) years of experience with the following technologies and/or skills:

  • Continuous improvement concepts and program management frameworks Six Sigma and Agile;
  • Creating and deploying processes or updates for efficiency and scale;
  • Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts;
  • Process Validation and Testing;
  • Tracking projects using Jira or Confluence; and
  • Tableau and Power BI.
