THE ROLE:

As a key member of the AMD Commercial Law team, the Paralegal will provide essential support to the Global Sales team, helping manage commercial contracting matters and ensuring legal processes run smoothly. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with internal functions such as Finance, Marketing, and Operations, as well as with commercial attorneys and business units. You will play an integral part in supporting business activities and managing the contract lifecycle, including organizing files and tracking deadlines. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your organizational and contract management skills will shine as you work directly with the sales team and legal professionals.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities with minimal oversight. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with all levels of the organization, and the ability to maintain confidentiality is critical. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent business judgment, and the ability to work well with various internal teams and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide paralegal support to AMD's Global Sales team and commercial attorneys in managing the contract lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, and Operations, to support business activities.
  • Organize and track contract files, deadlines, and contract information using an electronic document management system.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of commercial contracts and other business agreements.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Legal department, sales teams, and business units to ensure smooth contract execution and compliance with internal processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, assist with legal filings, and handle other administrative duties as needed.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate setting.
  • Experience in contract management or commercial law is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract management systems and e-signature platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document management systems.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent practical experience is highly desired.
