Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring an MTS Product Development Engineer to develop and/or test analytical solutions/products for Yield Engineering and monitoring for semiconductor products; analyze and manipulate large sets of data using statistical software; work on Analytics & Visualization Automation (AVA) dashboard for yield analysis; perform statistical analyses to identify differences between yield generating attributes; design and productize automated signal agents utilized by yield engineers, reducing manual signal detection; build Power BI dashboards to report and visualize high voltage test and alarm fails per unit and per wafer using wafer maps; involvement lasting throughout all stages of an analytical engine's lifecycle, including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance; develop and implement decision trees to statistically analyze and develop analytical solutions based on state and characteristics of yield data; exercise exploratory analysis regularly through available data science tools and technologies to report any new/abnormal observations that could be beneficial for business improvement; follow programming best practices to standardize/improve existing systems and its performance; solve problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors; and exercise judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics and Information Systems, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in job offered or closely related engineering/developer role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- Software debugging (macOS, Linux, or Unix);
- Full stack development;
- Batch scripting;
- REST framework;
- ReactJS; and
- AutoSys.
