Our software is utilized during all stages of product development across multiple AMD sites and includes distributed automation processes, web applications and databases to track millions of records generated by thousands of systems. We are seeking an experienced development manager with a passion for artificial intelligence, DevOps and a proven track record in leading successful teams. You will drive the development of cutting-edge AI products, DevOps tools and methodology and act as a local lead for the global organization.

• Oversee management of AI and DevOps projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and above-expectation delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, designers, and business analysts to define product vision and strategy.
• Craft and prioritize the product roadmap and project plans based on business impact and customer value.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, and vice versa, ensuring clear communication and understanding across teams.
• Monitor project progress, adjust as necessary, and report on milestones, deliverables, and risks/issues.
• Incorporate customer feedback and empirical data into product development to enhance user satisfaction.
• Remain up to date with AI trends, competitors, and potential technology partnerships.

 Preferred Experience and Skills

The ideal manager will excel in steering large scale initiatives initiatives, with a solid grasp of AI and machine learning technologies and their deployment in product environments. Expertise in agile project management is preferred. They should have a proven record in delivering projects that fulfill both technological and business criteria. The candidate must be adept at technical problem-solving, strategic planning, and articulating complex processes to a variety of stakeholders. A strong commitment to staying at the forefront of AI advancements and leading diverse teams to innovative solutions is paramount.

• Strong foundation in AI, machine learning, and data science concepts, tools, and applications.
• Strong foundation in software development, DevOps, and driving engineering productivity
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
• Proficient with Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management principles, practices, and software
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to align project deliverables with business objectives and market demands.
• Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
• Experience fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven environment.
• Change Adaptability: Competence in change management and agility to adapt to new challenges and industry shifts.

 Qualifications

• or MSc. degree in computer science, Engineering, AI, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management
• PMP, ACP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
