12-month contract, with possibility to extend or switch to indefinite contract

The Role
Are you passionate about creating quality software used at multiple AMD sites around the world? Do you want to help improve experiences of cutting-edge AMD CPU, APU, and graphics products? If so, AMD Software Infrastructure team is the right place for you. We develop and support massive systems that improve the productivity of the SW Organization in areas including DevOps, Advanced Web-Based Tools, Test Automation as well as Project, Release and Change Management solutions. We develop across full stack from infrastructure, container, database to API, and Web leveraging the latest technologies and development tools.

You will be a developer and owner of a multi-tier application with a web front-end, .NET core-based REST APIs and backed by databases. You will work with amazing engineers to develop new features and troubleshoot any production issues, gaining valuable experience and exposure to a fast-paced world-class development team

Required Experience and Skills 

• 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
• Proven experience in developing Web Applications using modern web frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Proficiency in interfacing with relational databases, specifically SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong background in C#/.NET Core and object-oriented development.
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud development on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, technical excellence, and a strong team player.
• Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills 

• Experience with unit and functional testing 
• Experience with Linux, Mono and/or cross-platform development 

Qualifications 

• Computer Science/Engineering Degree or equivalent
