Certification Details
• BLS required
• PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred
• BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

Job Details
• Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU/PICU
• 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS
• Must have 2 years current NICU and/or PICU experience required (no exceptions)
• Provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support
• Flexible and accustomed to fast-paced environment
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

Schedule Information
• SHIFTS: 12 hour nights shift
• Weekends/Holidays required
• Floating required - May need to support PresNow locations
• May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs
• On call, weekends and holidays required
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
• Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts
• ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training

Additional Details
• NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024)
• Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position
• Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location
• State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico
