About the Role:
As the Supply Chain Planner – Raw Materials (remote) you will support Strategic Raw Materials end to end inventory management including scheduling orders, reporting and analytics. You will focus on managing existing commodities as well as onboarding new commodities to the portfolio & overall support to the organization from a supply chain perspective & process improvement. This includes the management of internal processes to effect order shipment scheduling, raw material allocation, and shipment coordination to maximize financial margin, manage working capital, while minimizing risk. You will be responsible for the supply chain management of on and off site and in-transit inventories. Additionally, you will support the process transformations efforts to globally standardize the way we manage strategic raw materials as well as leading the deployment of digital tools to support digitizing our end-to-end supply chain. The processes and tools developed will build a continuum of organizational capabilities focused on supply chain visibility, alert management, decision support, and digital supply chain technologies.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out with the Planning activities for designated commodities & plants: Annual Plan and Monthly forecasts scenarios.
  • Generate and keep controls to track raw materials positions in a regular basis (weekly/Monthly and daily when needed).
  • Monitoring of Inventory and purchasing position: Analysis of actual vs. forecast vs. plan. Monitoring of cost of purchase and cost of inventory:  Creation & Analysis of actual vs. forecast vs. plan.
  • Monitor the supply to designated plants to make sure orders are delivered and inventory targets are met: Production-Shipping-Logistics.
  • Communicate the position within manufacturing, purchases, and transportation organizations to ensure full alignment with forecast.
  • Drive supply/demand conflicts to resolution (coordinate between procurement, maritime and manufacturing).
  • Propose, approve and coordinate schedule changes with all relevant parties ensuring material availability and healthy inventory levels while minimizing freight & demurrage costs as much as possible.
     

What you can bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related areas;
  • Fluent English;
  • Solid experience in Supply Chain environment;
  • Project Management skills;
  • Experience with digital implementations and process improvement/transformation;
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Office suit. Ability to handle Power BI, macros and VBA will be a differential.
