About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Spring Intern to join our Industrial Hygiene team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety, contributing to projects that enhance workplace safety and health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling and safety improvement projects.
- Actively support the safety team as a contributing member.
- Identify and execute health improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), ABS, and department management.
- Present project outcomes at the intern symposium at the end of the spring.

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Some background in safety or industrial hygiene is ideal but not critical.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
