About the Role:

The Site Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Alcoa Technical Center (ATC) located in New Kensington, PA. and any interface within our support groups, such as: IT, Procurement, and HR. Provide administrative support at Alcoa Technical Center including, but not limited to:

  • Creating procurement requisitions 

  • Support site onboarding program and exit processes with human resources

  • Service as site business process owner for resource timesheet reporting platform (Kronos)

  • Meeting Coordination; including catering, scheduling, visitors, wireless access

  • Maintenance internal project non-disclosure agreements and third-party non-disclosure agreements

  • Coordinate medical surveillance testing for the ATC site, within EHS protocols

  • Onsite Personal Protective Equipment contact as per EHS standards including safety glasses, ordering and maintaining relationship with fire retardant clothing supplier, safety boots

  • Low Value purchase, Travel and Expense SPA for the site.

  • Intralinks administrator; assigning new accounts, and maintenance disabling old accounts

  • Serve as Technical Business process owner (BPO) for the secure data vault, which includes maintenance of access control lists, and assigning accounts

  • Maintain the Technical Library, and provide technical documents to global users as needed

  • Serve as SPA for Alcoa Learn, assign EHS training classes as needed

  • Update Site Distribution lists

  • Other miscellaneous administrative duties as needed

What you can bring to this role:

  • High School diploma, required

  • Associates degree preferred but not required.

  • 5+ years of experience working in an administrative role

  • Basic working knowledge of administrative, procurement, human resource, record

  • Highly proficient computer skills (Microsoft office)

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and work with people at all levels of organization

  • Strong people skills with a professional demeanor with the ability to work in a collaborative environment

  • Possess reasoned judgement and excellent interpersonal skills to make decisions, including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills at the administrative level

  • Willingness to learn
