About the Role
If you are a seasoned expert in technology with a passion for driving digital transformation, then this could be an exciting role for you to join our ITAS Operations team and implement innovative solutions for Materials Management across Alcoa's global technology landscape!
As our Product Technical Lead – Materials Management, you will work closely with various operational and technical teams to support the development and delivery of operations management solutions. You will be our expert in mapping out the ultimate strategy and product roadmap that will deliver innovative outcomes across our business by:
Building strong collaborative relationships within the product team and translating business requirements into actionable functional and technical requirements for Materials Management solutions.
Collaborating with a technical team of professionals, consisting of both internal employees and external contractors, towards the implementation of innovative solutions for Materials Management.
Owning the full lifecycle of assigned products from the Product Line ensuring the products are designed and delivered in accordance with business requirements, Alcoa's security and software development standards.
Playing an active role in the Agile and Scrum processes helping the business in prioritising and clearing roadblocks for the development team.
Performing unit testing and coordinating user acceptance testing with the business to ensure the products are working at the desired level before releasing the changes to production.
Supporting on audit and compliance activities and performing daily ITAS tasks(e.g.: manage service and shared accounts, access to applications and passwords, etc.).

What you can bring to the role
Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related IT field.
Extensive experience in Software Applications, Oracle ERP, Web & Mobile Applications, Cloud Solutions or process information applications services within a leading capacity.
Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, Change Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Applications Development, Resource Planning, Business Analysis, DevOps, and Cloud Integration.
Working knowledge of Operations solutions, Equipment Reliability, Materials Management and Reliability Excellence practices.
Communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels.
A flexible work approach where night calls may be required to connect and collaborate with global teams on solution initiatives.
