Adventist Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) to join our dynamic Gastroenterology team. As a member of our esteemed organization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of gastroenterology.
This position offers a rare blend of specialties, encompassing General Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy. In addition to traditional gastroenterological care, this role presents the chance to delve into the management of Obesity, Endo-Hepatology workup, which is exclusively available at our center in the Central Valley, and other Foregut disorders. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with gastrointestinal disorders under the supervision of attending physicians.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and counseling regarding their condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing research projects within the department.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology or a related field preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

Wage Scale: 122,000-160,000
