AdventHealth Orlando is seeking an experienced, board-certified neuro critical care physician to join our critical care team. This individual would be based at AdventHealth Orlando hospital, which is a 1,368-bed tertiary facility, with approximately 160 ICU beds. Our Neuro Critical Care unit is currently 30 beds, with capacity to increase to 40 beds. AdventHealth is continuing to grow its comprehensive and successful 24/7 ICU closed model.

The Neuroscience Institute continues on a path of expansion across our system. We recently launched our Neuro Critical Care Fellowship that started in 2020. This fellowship will accept two fellows per year. The ideal candidate is expected to help lead this academic program. In addition, the ideal candidate would also be able to lead our efforts in neurocritical care research, care analytics, quality and outcomes. Our Neuroscience Institute program consists of 120 dedicated neurology beds, with 8 dedicated neurosurgical OR suites with an intraoperative 3T MRI and 64 slice CT.

Note: Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the UCNS subspecialty of Neuro Critical Care Medicine. Group is open to Anesthesiology, Pulmonology, Internal Medicine with a special preference to those with Neurology backgrounds.
