Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP), a program of Accessible Space, Inc., is a nationally recognized, CARF-accredited neuro-rehabilitation center specializing in the treatment of brain injuries in adults, adolescents, and children. Our comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach offers cutting-edge treatment in a highly clinical, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.

 At NCEP, our team of expert clinicians, many of whom are Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS), work together to achieve extraordinary outcomes. Our patients engage in therapy five days per week for six hours per day, receiving intensive services that foster remarkable recoveries. In addition to our residential post-acute program, we have a brand-new state-of-the-art Concussion Clinic, where patients receive individualized treatment for up to three hours per day. We are seeking a Part Time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physical therapy services to NCEP clients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.

Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications:     

  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Current, valid license as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Current State of Nevada Board of Physical Therapy Assistant License or eligibility for such licensure through the State Licensure procedure.
  • Prior experience working day treatment, rehabilitation and/or residential programs for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological impairments all a plus.

Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities: 

  • Provide treatment including functional mobility, range of motion, strengthening, balance
  • Administers direct patient care through group and individual sessions within the clinic, residence and community, under the supervision of the licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Prepares and transmits accurate patient information to Physical Therapist and other Clinical Team members.
  • Confers with therapists of other disciplines and appropriate personnel regarding progress of the patient
  • Provides input on the patient's progress at various conferences
