Job Description:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline: Economics, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent years of related work experience required
Work Experiences:
- 4+ years of retail buying, retail operations or relevant work experience required
- 1+ year of supervisory or management experience preferred
Skills:

- Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel Skills
- Exceptional analytical skills & financial literacy

Responsibilities:
- Leads a sub-set of the team's efforts in partnership with merchandise planning and visual merchandising organizations to achieve sales and profit objectives through accurate space analysis, efficient macro and micro space planning and consumer centric planogram creation.
- Builds and maintains collaborative partnerships with Merchant, Visual Merchandise Presentation Creative, Inventory, and Store Operations teams. Consistently works cross-functionally to gain alignment on planograms and/or merchandise plans in accordance to strategic business presentation objectives.
- Executes quality control measures for planograms and/or merchandise plans ensuring accuracy of store assignments, compliance with strategic vision and/or corporate standards, and attention to detail.
- Actively leads continual process improvement efforts, evaluates planogram effectiveness and makes recommendations to maximize workflow efficiencies. Finds causal factors that can constrain performance and profits. Visibly drives for and delivers process improvements
- Provides store support regarding planograms and/or merchandising plans. Acts with a strong sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs. Takes responsibility for finding lasting solutions to difficult problems.
- Manage JDA Intactix Floorplanning floorplan changes for all stores within assigned Regions and maintains current and future view of all stores within the application. Develop mastery across an array of functions – including but not limited to, creation of layouts, loading tiers, pulling data and maintaining store attributes.
- Understand merchandising and planning strategies, communicate these strategies to cross-functional partners as guiding principles while also applying general direction to individual stores.
- Direct all aspects of visual merchandising, including planogram creation, fixture-graphic fulfillment, and reset coordination.
- Serve as an integral part of the Category Merchandising Team (CMT) in driving sales, gross margin and turn.
- Provide data and analytics to influence decision-making in merchandise buys, assortment tiers, marketing, creative and product allocations.
- Take ownership of special projects and initiatives and report back to team on new developments, strategies, and/ or roll-out plans.
- Oversee analytics and assortment optimization to increase retailer category sales and perform strategic category analysis and insights discovery.
- Lead the development and implementation of new innovative fixture initiatives and serve as the visual merchandising strategy expert.
- Coordinate the onboarding and training of new existing Category Space Planners for the category team.

- Regular attendance required
- Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Up to 20% travel, overnight stays as required
