The Planning Manager of Private Brand is responsible for driving top & bottom-line growth for the Private Brand business. The Planning Manager of Private Brand will be a proven collaborative and cross-functional leader, who is results-focused and innovative in their planning and allocation practices and strategies. This role will serve as the financial lead for the Private Brand division by preparing and presenting financial plans to aid in decision making. This individual will need to influence without authority to drive business decisions through partnerships with Private Brands SVP, Sr. Directors, and Sourcing Managers. Job Description:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required
Work Experiences:
- 5+ years of progressive experience overseeing planning in a multi-channel or multi-store retail environment required

Responsibilities:
- Long Range Plan:
- Support the Private Brands long range plan by preparing tasks and initiatives to achieve the plan
- Collaborates with the Sourcing Leadership in building financial targets for private brand assortments and review final buy plans to update forecasts
- Create marketing ROI measurements to evaluate productivity of Private Brand marketing spend.
- Develop product ROI targets and work with cross-functional teams to operate on a total landed cost basis.
- Tariff/Duty Mitigation:
- Work with 4 Sr. Directors, Sourcing Managers, Logistics, QA, Finance, etc., to prepare and present Duty and Tariff Roadmap reporting
- Identify risk opportunities and research mitigation solutions
- Create reporting as needed
- System Maintenance:
- Ensure systems (ie. PLM, Cleartrack, RMS, etc.) are updated with accurate product details, duty and tariff spend, logistics lead times, freight rates, etc., for accurate document creation, shipment and shipment timing
- SABR:
- Partners with Sourcing Teams to create Semi-Annual Business Reviews (SABR) that defines the strategic intent and tactics needed to achieve the Private Brand financial plans.
- Presents forecasts to executive leaders to identify, quantify and communicate opportunities and risks.
- Ad hoc preseason and post mortem performance planning. Maintains historical records for hindsight review to capture opportunities and include next year's recommended actions concerning pricing and promotions; grow, sustain or drive efficiency by category; contingency plans; sales curves
- Customer Reviews:
- Analyze correlations between customer reviews and defective return activity to understand product performance.
- Provide effective team management and a change leadership approach in driving continuous improvements and innovation to drive higher predictable results
- Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned
