Job Overview:
The Senior Software Developer III position will be responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and documentation of code used in the web-based digital platform. This will include technologies and projects related to web page clients, mobile apps (iOS/Android) and related server based programs. Responsibilities will include UX improvements, server side optimizations, performance improvements and new features.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements, deploys, supports, and optimizes digital platform code
- Designs, implements, deploys, supports, and optimizes backend service programs and applications
- Designs, implements, deploys, supports, and optimizes web client programs and applications
- Works within the full SDLC to deliver high quality implementations
- Provides technical documentation of solutions and platform architecture
- Works within an AWS infrastructure to deliver solutions
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives in order to maximize team effectiveness
- Delivers timely solutions for tasks assigned
- Communicates with other team members and other departments to foster open and productive working relationship
- Works with others to ensure accurate requirements are defined
- Provides technical advice and consultation
- Provides timely project status and issue reporting to management
- Other duties as assigned and/or required
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- Bachelors or Associate degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent field AND Seven (7) years' experience working in a software development environment– required
- OR Ten (10) years of Software Development experience developing, maintaining, and managing web applications- required
- Experience with Scala or Java or Unity3D or ReactJS – required
- Experience with GraphQL, Apache Kafka, JavaScript, C# – preferred
- Experience with NoSQL, MySQL - preferred
- Experience with AWS infrastructure - preferred
- Casino gaming experience (online or on-property; operator or vendor) a plus– preferred
- Knowledge of Git, or another similar source code management system
- Experience using task management software
- Experience in build automation
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have a valid and current State Driver's License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required
- Must have a Pennsylvania and/or Illinois Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position as requested
- Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
- Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
